Malmö is the 3rd biggest city in Sweden, located in the beautiful county of Skåne!
How to get there

Flight Copenhagen airport connects to all continents and is the easiest way to arrive to Malmö. With is location, only 20min by fast train from Copenhagen airport, you cross the Öresund bridge over the Sound, and you arrive in Malmö, Sweden. Just a few kilometers from the race village!

Malmö also have an airport, mainly for domestic flights, but some European destinations is also available. The airport is located 30km from Malmö city, and is accessible with airport coaches.

Train/Bus Malmö Central is well connected with International trains and busses. Copenhagen also offers a variety of connections, and with the fast train you reach Malmö in only 30min.

Car Malmö is easy accessible with its location in the very south of Sweden. Ferry lines from Germany to Trelleborg and Ystad is just round the corner. Another way to access Malmö by car is via Denmark, and the connections to Germany via Flensburg, or ferry connections Rodby-Puttgarden. Ps. Don’t forget to reserve your ticket in advance, as the World Championships runs during the holiday period!

Arriving & Launching

During June, MSS will send out more detailed information about “how to” and “upon your arrival”.

The races will take place just outside “Västra Hamnen”, Öresund, “The Sound”, close to the shore line so spectators will have a good view over the race course. During some of the days a speaker will follow the race, and will make the action on the water understandable for spectators, relatives and tourist walking along the dock.
